Second STEP...
What is it?
Second Step is a program provided to all students grades K-5 in the Mifflin County School District, as well as Sacred Heart School. Second Step focuses on social-emotional learning. These important skills are often overlooked, but are very important to be successful in school and in life! Second Step helps students think about, develop, and practice positive social skills. Research tells us that children who learn and use these skills are more likely to get along with others and do better in school.
